Oil Equipment Service Contracts
Value Comfort Plan
The Value Comfort Plan covers just about anything that's likely to go wrong with your system and includes our annual Boro Fuel tune-up to increase your system's longevity and performance.
Boro Fuel will repair or replace during the life of this agreement, at no extra charge to our customer, any of the following parts, which may become defective due to normal use or wear and tear.

 Gas Equipment Service Contracts
We offer gas service contracts for both residential and commercial parts and labor coverage. Below are the contracts offered by Boro Fuel:
Small Residential Boiler
This contract is for 1 to 4 families or mixed-use; less than 350,000 BTUs. It includes labor and parts coverage for one atmospheric boiler and one gas-fired hot water heater.
Additional gas hot water heater coverage available
Small Commercial Boiler
This contract is for 5 to 16 families or mixed-use; less than 950,000 BTUs. It includes labor and parts coverage for one atmospheric boiler and one non-commercial gas-fired hot water heater.

Excluded items: thermostats, heat timers, Tekmar heat controls, boiler coils, and non-atmospheric gas burners, and all plumbing work.
All contracts are subject to field inspection prior to start-up. All preventive maintenance appointments are done between May 1 and September 30. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Service Hours
Oct. 15 through April 15: Monday - Sunday, 8a.m. - 10p.m.
April 16 through Oct. 14: Monday - Saturday, 9a.m. - 5p.m.
The following constitutes emergency service:
NO HEAT, SERIOUS FUEL LEAKS, DANGEROUS SITUATIONS
Emergency service will be performed during normal service hours.

Terms & Conditions for Oil Equipment Service Contracts
- A Boro Fuel tune-up will be performed once during the service agreement term during regular hours, between March 1 and September 30. No tune-ups will be performed after September 30. The annual tune-up includes the following:
- Test and adjust oil burner for maximum efficiency
- Install new air filters, oil filter cartridge and burner nozzle, if necessary
- Inspect combustion chamber
- Clean and check electrodes and nozzle assembly
- Oil all motors on burner, fans and circulators
- Safety check all operating controls
- Check oil tank
- Labor costs are covered for the repair and replacement of listed parts only.
- Exclusions: This agreement does not cover parts or labor under these circumstances:
- Parts needing repair or replacement that are not expressly included in this agreement (see parts list)
- Lack of oil when delivery has been delayed due to delinquency in payments or when customer is not on automatic delivery
- Failure of customer to maintain proper boiler water level or pressure
- Customer leaving emergency switch in "off" position
- Customer setting thermostat too low to call for heat
- Air in baseboard heaters or in radiators
- Repairs/work needed for piping that is not related to the heating system
- Repairs/work needed for plumbing conditions related to boiler
- This agreement does not cover repair or replacement of obsolete parts, such as certain zone valves, circulators and combustion chambers, which are not available through regular sources of supply.
- If all fuel oil requirements (700-gallon minimum) are not purchased from Boro Fuel, this agreement is void.
- This agreement does not cover repairs needed as a result of acts of God, fire, flooding or other water damage, etc.; repairs needed as a result of ordinary wear and tear are covered.
- There shall be no liability for any reason on the part of Boro Fuel for work done by anyone else, unless such person is authorized in writing by Boro Fuel to perform such work or furnish parts.
- This agreement reflects prices for residential systems only. Rates for commercial systems are available on request.
- The length of this agreement is one year. It will automatically renew each year unless we are notified of cancellation in writing 30 days before the renewal date.
- There shall be no refunds on any unexpired portion of this agreement.
- This service agreement is transferable upon sale of home to new owners.

Terms & Conditions for Gas Equipment Service Contracts
- The contract is between the Customer and Boro Energy Group (Company). The Company agrees to provide emergency service for a period of one year, while the contract is in effect.
- Coverage under each plan will commence within ten (10) days after Company processes Customer payment and enrollment form, signed by Customer.
- To obtain service under this contract, Customer must call Company at its main service number. During the heating season, the call center is open 24 hours a day, and service is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
- Boro Energy Group will respond to service calls in a prompt manner, except for situations beyond the control of the Company, such as poor weather conditions, labor disruptions, or acts of God.
- Customer has the right to cancel service plan by written notice within five (5) days from the date the customer returns the signed enrollment form. If Customer sells property, contract may be transferable to new order for the duration of the contract.
- Contracts are renewable from year to year. Customer will have a thirty (30) day grace period to renew contract, without penalty.
- Company has the right to cancel the contract if Customer fails to provide us access for initial inspection, if equipment is found not to be in working order or unserviceable, if Customer fails to service or replace any parts necessary to maintain the equipment in good working order, or if the working conditions are unsafe or unsanitary to our personnel.
